We Remember Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent

On this day, we remember that 10 years ago Parliament Hill and Canada’s National War Memorial were attacked by a lone gunman. We remember the sacrifice of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent who laid down their lives to protect others. We remember their families who lost a loved one that day. My thoughts and prayers are with those families and all those who have lost someone in the line of duty. We are especially mindful of our fellow Hamiltonians, the Cirillo family, today.

I give thanks for the brave men and women who stand in the gap for freedom every day.
