About Dan:
- Dan lives in Lynden with his wife Tracy and their two energetic terriers, Ally and Dani. He was born and raised in Copetown and has lived in this area most of his life
- Current Member of Parliament for Flamborough-Glanbrook and serves on the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities as Associate Shadow Minister for Transport
- Successful 25-year career in the private sector before politics, including the Agri-food and Energy sectors, working in Calgary, Alberta and Raleigh, North Carolina
for periods of his career - Member of the Rotary and Chamber of Commerce (Flamborough, Glanbrook). Served on the Board of Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington prior to being elected

Every 10 years the riding boundaries are adjusted based on the most recent Census. New population growth is a big factor, and Brantford has grown significantly in the past decade.
The new boundaries are decided by an independent commission under Elections Canada.
